Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in Chengdu
Arrive in Chengdu and make your way to the hotel for check-in.
The rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore Chengdu at your own pace. You may choose to enjoy Sichuan cuisine, visit local neighborhoods, or simply rest after your journey.
Overnight: Chengdu
Day 2 | Chengdu – Dujiangyan or Panda Paradise – High-Speed Train to Jiuzhaigou Area
After breakfast at the hotel, start your journey with a visit to either Dujiangyan Irrigation System or Panda Paradise, depending on the train schedule and final arrangement.
At Dujiangyan, explore one of China’s greatest ancient water management projects. Visit the three major highlights of the irrigation system: Fish Mouth Levee, Flying Sand Weir, and Bottle-Neck Channel. This remarkable engineering masterpiece has benefited the Chengdu Plain for more than 2,000 years and is still in use today.
Alternatively, visit Panda Paradise, a research and conservation base dedicated to giant panda rescue, disease prevention, and international panda exchange programs. Here, you may see well-known pandas, including pandas that have returned from overseas.
After the visit, transfer to the railway station and take the high-speed train to the Jiuzhaigou region. Upon arrival at Huanglongjiuzhai, Songpan, or Huangshengguan Station, transfer to your hotel near Jiuzhaigou or Chuanzhusi.
In the evening, enjoy a complimentary Tibetan family visit experience, where you can learn about local Tibetan culture and interact with local residents. Dinner is at your own expense unless otherwise arranged in your selected package.

Day 3 | Full-Day Jiuzhaigou Valley Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the entrance of Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area.
Enter Jiuzhaigou Valley and take the scenic area shuttle bus to explore this world-class natural heritage site. Known for its emerald lakes, layered waterfalls, colorful forests, misty valleys, snow peaks, and Tibetan cultural atmosphere, Jiuzhaigou is often described as a fairyland on earth.
The main landscapes are located in three valleys: Shuzheng Valley, Rize Valley, and Zechawa Valley. The water of Jiuzhaigou is especially famous for its incredible clarity and changing colors, creating a dreamlike natural scenery unlike anywhere else in China.
After the visit, exit the scenic area at the agreed time and return to your hotel.

Day 4 | Jiuzhaigou Area – Huanglong Scenic Area – High-Speed Train to Chengdu
After breakfast at the hotel, depart for Huanglong Scenic Area.
On the way, enjoy a drive-by view of the Red Army Long March Monument, located near Chuanzhusi in Songpan County. This area is on the route to the famous Jiuzhaigou and Huanglong scenic regions.
Continue to Huanglong, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site praised as a “fairyland on earth.” Located beneath the main peak of Minshan Mountain, Huanglong is known for its well-preserved alpine wetland, snow mountain scenery, and spectacular travertine formations.
Explore highlights such as Xishen Cave, Golden Sand Pavement, Bonsai Pool, Huanglong Cave, Huanglong Temple, Stone Pagoda Sea, and the famous Five-Color Pond. The layered colorful pools reflect shades of blue, green, gold, and white, creating one of China’s most extraordinary natural landscapes.
After the visit, transfer to Songpan, Huanglongjiuzhai, or Huangshengguan Railway Station and take the high-speed train back to Chengdu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in.

Day 5 | Free Day in Chengdu
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy a free day in Chengdu.
You may explore the city at your own pace, enjoy local food, visit teahouses, shop for souvenirs, or choose optional activities such as Kuanzhai Alley, Jinli Ancient Street, Wuhou Shrine, People’s Park, or Taikoo Li.

Day 6 | Chengdu Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy free time until your departure.
Depending on your flight or train schedule, make your own way or arrange a transfer to the airport or railway station. Your Chengdu and Jiuzhaigou journey ends with unforgettable memories of Sichuan’s mountains, lakes, Tibetan culture, and world-class natural heritage sites.

Important Notes
- The order of the itinerary may be adjusted according to the final high-speed train schedule. If the train departs in the morning on Day 2, Dujiangyan may be moved to Day 4 and Huanglong may be visited on Day 2 instead. No major attractions will be reduced, but the order may change.
- Specific train numbers and departure times cannot be guaranteed in advance and are subject to final ticket availability.
- Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area uses public sightseeing shuttle buses inside the park. These are not private vehicles.
- Huanglong is located at a relatively high altitude. Please avoid strenuous activity and prepare altitude-sickness medication if needed.
- Please respect local Tibetan customs and traditions during your stay in the Tibetan area.
- The complimentary Tibetan family visit experience may be adjusted according to local conditions and group arrangements.
- During peak seasons and holidays, waiting times may occur at scenic area entrances, shuttle buses, cable cars, and railway stations.
