Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in Chengdu
Arrive in Chengdu and make your way to the hotel for check-in.
After checking in, enjoy free time to explore the city at your own pace. You may choose to visit local neighborhoods, enjoy Sichuan cuisine, or simply relax after your journey.
Overnight: Chengdu
Day 2 | Chengdu – Mount Emei Golden Summit
After breakfast at the hotel, depart from Chengdu and travel to Mount Emei. The drive takes approximately 2.5 hours.
Upon arrival, lunch is at your own expense. After lunch, take the scenic area sightseeing shuttle bus up the mountain to Leidongping. From there, walk approximately 1.5 km to Jieyin Hall. Along the way, you may pass through an area where wild monkeys are often seen. Please keep a safe distance and do not feed or tease the monkeys.
Continue by cable car to the Golden Summit, one of the most spectacular highlights of Mount Emei. Visit the magnificent Ten-Faced Samantabhadra Statue, Huazang Temple, Woyun Nunnery, and famous scenic spots such as Jingangzui and Sheshen Cliff. On clear days, you may even enjoy distant views of Mount Gongga. With a little luck, you may also witness the rare “Buddha’s Light” phenomenon.
After visiting the Golden Summit, take the cable car down and return to Leidongping. Then take the sightseeing shuttle bus to the mid-mountain area and check in at your hotel.

Day 3 | Mount Emei – Leshan Giant Buddha – Chengdu
After breakfast at the hotel, take the cable car up to Wannian Cable Car Station and walk to Wannian Temple, an important Buddhist temple dedicated to Samantabhadra Bodhisattva. Inside the temple, see the famous bronze Samantabhadra statue, regarded as one of Mount Emei’s treasured cultural relics.
Continue downhill to visit Bailong Cave, Qingyin Pavilion, Qingyin Lake, Heilongjiang Plank Road, One-Line Sky, and the Natural Ecological Monkey Zone.
Please note that Heilongjiang Plank Road, One-Line Sky, and the Monkey Zone are located in a special scenic area and may require guests to visit independently. This section is subject to timing, physical condition, and scenic area conditions. If time is limited, some parts may be skipped.
Lunch is at your own expense. After lunch, drive to Leshan and visit the Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area. Walk through the scenic area and admire the majestic Maitreya Buddha, carved into the cliff during the Tang Dynasty. Standing 71 meters tall, the Leshan Giant Buddha is an extraordinary masterpiece where, as the saying goes, “the mountain is a Buddha, and the Buddha is a mountain.”
After the visit, return to Chengdu and check in at your hotel.

Day 4 | Chengdu Departure
After breakfast at the hotel, enjoy free time until your transfer to the airport or railway station according to your flight or train schedule.
Your journey ends with wonderful memories of Mount Emei and Leshan.

- Mount Emei is home to wild monkeys. Please do not feed, touch, or tease them, and keep your belongings secure.
- Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended.
- The mountain area includes steps, slopes, and cable car transfers. Please take care when getting on and off the cable car.
- Some scenic sections, such as One-Line Sky and the Natural Ecological Monkey Zone, may be adjusted or skipped depending on time, weather, crowd levels, and guests’ physical condition.
- Local souvenir stalls and temple offering areas inside the scenic spots are not arranged shopping stops. Any purchase or temple offering is entirely optional.
- During peak seasons or holidays, waiting times may occur at scenic area entrances, shuttle buses, and cable cars.
