Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival in Xi’an

Arrive in Xi’an and check in at your hotel.

The rest of the day is free for you to rest or explore the city independently.

Overnight: Xi’an


Day 2 | Terracotta Warriors, Qin Culture, Huaqing Palace & Evening Performances

After breakfast, visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, one of China’s most iconic historical sites. Discover the life-sized army created for Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China.

Continue to the Qin Relics Touch & Rubbing Experience Center for an interactive cultural activity inspired by ancient relics and traditional rubbing techniques.

Later, visit Huaqing Palace, a historic imperial resort known for its hot springs, Tang Dynasty stories, and association with Emperor Xuanzong and Yang Guifei.

Enjoy the immersive 1212 Xi’an Incident performance, which brings modern Chinese history to life through dramatic staging and storytelling. In the evening, watch The Legend of Camel Bell, a grand performance inspired by the Silk Road and the cultural exchanges of ancient Chang’an.

Day 3 | Mount Huashan

Travel to Mount Huashan, one of China’s Five Great Mountains and a legendary destination known for its steep cliffs, dramatic ridgelines, and spectacular views.

Guests may choose a cable car route based on physical condition and the guide’s suggestion:

  • West Peak up and North Peak down: ideal for travelers who want a more complete mountain route without backtracking
  • West Peak round-trip cable car: a relatively easier option covering the West, South, and East Peaks

After the mountain visit, return to Xi’an.

Day 4 | Da Ci’en Temple, Yongxingfang, Museum Visit, Hanfu Experience & Tang Nightlife

After breakfast, visit Da Ci’en Temple, one of Xi’an’s most important Buddhist sites and home to the famous Giant Wild Goose Pagoda.

Continue to Yongxingfang, a cultural and food street where you can discover Shaanxi-style snacks and local traditions.

Next, visit Shaanxi History Museum, one of the best museums in China for understanding the history of ancient Chang’an and the Silk Road. If reservations are unavailable, Xi’an Museum will be arranged as an alternative.

Later, enjoy a Hanfu costume experience and visit Chang’an Twelve Hours, an immersive Tang-style cultural attraction inspired by the prosperity and elegance of ancient Chang’an.

In the evening, stroll through the Great Tang Ever-Bright City, known for its dazzling lights, Tang-style architecture, and lively night atmosphere.

Overnight: Xi’an


Day 5 | Ancient City Wall, Bell & Drum Tower Square, Muslim Quarter & Gao Family Courtyard

After breakfast, visit the ancient Xi’an City Wall, one of the best-preserved city walls in China. Walk along the wall and enjoy views of the old city and modern Xi’an.

Continue to Bell & Drum Tower Square, the historic heart of Xi’an.

Then explore the Muslim Quarter, famous for its local snacks, traditional shops, and vibrant street atmosphere.

Finally, visit Gao Family Courtyard and enjoy a traditional shadow puppet performance, a charming folk art experience that reflects the cultural heritage of Shaanxi.

After the visit, your Xi’an journey concludes.
